Who we are
Queensgate Glass Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 11721202), based in Stockport, South Manchester, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us about your data at enquiries@queensgateglass.co.uk or 07715 418795.
What we collect and why
Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, phone number, postcode and project details. We use them to reply to you, arrange a consultation, prepare a quote and carry out any work that follows. Our lawful bases are taking steps you ask for before a contract, and performing that contract.
Our review form collects your name, town, email address and review. We publish your review with your name and town, but never your email address. Our lawful basis is your consent.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits without cookies, and the site sends error reports (the error message, page and browser type) to Austin Tech Solutions, who maintain this website; neither identifies you. Our host, Vercel, also processes your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site. Our lawful basis for these is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.
Giving us your details is optional, but without them we can’t reply to you. We never sell your information or use it for marketing.
Cookies and storage
This website sets no cookies. If you add ?notrack=1 to a page address, a flag is saved in your browser’s local storage so your visits are not counted; it is never sent to us.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with providers who handle it on our behalf: Vercel (hosting, visit statistics and published reviews), Zoho (which delivers form emails) and Austin Tech Solutions (who maintain this website). Some of them may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to respond to them. Where work goes ahead, we keep your details for as long as needed to carry out the work and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Published reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove them; reviews we do not publish are not stored.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on it. To use any of these rights, or to complain about how we handle your information, email enquiries@queensgateglass.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
